Citing video proof, Israel responded to growing international outcry at their botched raid on a humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza. In the video Israeli commandos can be seen boarding the vessel and being attacked by those on board. Speaking to reporters Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahou made his case that the soldiers were forced to defend themselves.
