The United Cannabis Ministry led by reverend Steve Cherms have expanded upon the medical marijuana laws of California. Cherm’s and his parishioners consider themselves guardians of the cannabis or as they call it “the tree of life”. At the Cannabis Ministries marijuana is the holy sacrament. It is ingested prior to each sermon which Cherms delivers from his laptop. The reverend insists that all their practices are within the confines of the law. He only allows church goers with legal medical marijuana cards to take part in the service.

Revelation 22:2 “The tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
