Hans Rosling On Global Population Growth-TEDTalks

What role will the west play in the emerging new world order? As the global population skyrockets and developing countries reach parity with their modern counterparts, a new distribution of power will emerge. Hans Rosling gives a powerful presentation at TEDTalks highlighting the need to improve infant mortality rates and the living standards of the poor. These are the mechanisms he believes will lead to a means of managing the ballooning world population.

“The world’s population will grow to 9 billion over the next 50 years — and only by raising the living standards of the poorest can we check population growth.
