Every summer movie goers are presented with a plethora animated kids cartoons and live action comic book adaptations. While some of these movies get it right a la Dark Knight. Many of them fail to capture the epicness of their source material. The superheros and villains come across as mediocre. That’s what makes this 3D animated trailer for DC Universe Online all the more frustrating to watch. It nails the feel of a comic book universe so well, yet it is relegated to being merely promo material for a videogame. So I have to ask, why can’t all comic book movies be like this?
