Building A Gaming Layer On Top Of The Real World

In the last decade Facebook has connected 500 million people socially. Twitter has us connected over 100 million people in realtime.  Now Seth Priebatsch CEO of SCVNGR wants to add a gaming layer on top of all that social data. Priebatsch believes this to be the start of the gaming decade. In his TEDTalk he enumerates the key features of this technological shift in social influence through gaming mechanics.
