Week In Tech: NASA 747, Facebook Places, iPad 2

The location wars are heating up as Facebook challenges Foursquare with its new ‘Places’ initiative.

On World Tech Update this week Facebook introduces a location based service, Twitter creates the Tweet Button, Intel plans to buy security vendor McAfee, a Taiwanese newspaper reports that Apple is readying a new tablet similar to its iPad, a robot makes working from home easier and NASA puts a telescope in a 747.-macworld
