World renown portrait photographer Steve McCurry recalls the creative process behind taking the photo ‘Afghan Girl’. Thanks to a slight loophole in Afghanistan’s strict custom of not taking photos of females, McCurry was able to capture the image of this young girl with piercing green eyes.
