Sony Unveils 3D Camcorder At CES 2011

It seems like every major Hollywood blockbuster now boasts 3D viewing as a main selling point. Just when you thought the 3D onslaught was slowing, TV manufactures came out with sets that were capable of displaying in your face graphics. As 3D makes it’s way into the home at a rather substantial cost to early adopters, the demand for 3D media to watch will increase exponentially. Sony maker of the Bravia TV line is hoping to spur on the next generation of home recording with their 3D Camcorder. Sony’s new device utilizes a dual lens approach that captures images for left and right eye viewing in high definition. At a price of $1500, Sony’s 3D camera isn’t cheap but for all the up and coming ‘Spieldbergs’ out their it will be a must have for you indie film masterpiece.
