Anyone who’s ever played video games know how engrossing they can be. You sit down for a quick session of your favorite game and the next thing you know it’s midnight and your starving. The only thing worst that getting lost in a game on your couch is doing so in public. The results can be disastrous.
In the case of this little boy in Italy, he was so mesmerized by the game he was playing on his Sony PSP, that he walked right off the subway platform falling onto the tracks below. Luckily for him and off duty police officer saw the whole thing and jumped down to save him. While the boy was traveling with his family it only took a split second of him being out of their site for the accident to happen.
Mobile devices seem to be getting the best of distracted users in recent months. Word to the wise, watch your kids and watch were your going. Texting while walking can also be dangerous.
