The Super Bowl may have the largest view audience for advertising, but advertisers are starting see the benefit of a successful online viral marketing campaign. Old Spice proved that a well executed viral video could spread through social networks like wild fire. Since then advertisers have been trying to reproduce the effect. It seems as if Volkswagen has pulled of the feet this year with the pre-release of their ad for the new 2011 Passat sedan. The ad is set to air during the Super Bowl but the Youtube version of the ad is going viral throughout Twitter and FaceBook. check the spot out for your self. The Force is strong with this one.
