Protest Flatness by Marlies Van Der Wel

Living in the midwest, I’ve come to miss the hills and foliage of the east coast. Sometimes in life you need more visual variety in your surroundings. Whereas I would have to fly to the east coast to view the ski slopes of Pennsylvania, Dutch animator Marlies Van Der Wel has dreamed up an even more clever means to ‘Protest Flatness’. In this delightful animation we see just what some imagination and a lot of ingenuity can accomplish. Never accept your current situation to be unchangeable, there is always a way around or over any obstacle.

Check out the video to see what grand adventures await a determined soul.
