Little monsters rejoice! The long anticipate release of Lady Gaga’s official video for Born This Way has premiered on Vevo today. In typical Gaga style the video is filled with surreal macabre imagery.
The video opens to a psychedelic kaleidoscope of color and photos as Gaga recounts the birth of a far of alien universe. The photo collage style intro to the video is very reminiscent of Kanye West’s ‘Power’ video. As she mentions the birth of this new world, a group of constellations can seen in the background in the shape of fallopian tubes. Gaga can be seen presiding over the intro decked in the garb of a crystal star goddess.

From their the video cuts to the actual song and a more traditional Britneyesque dance routing ensues. The bone implant shoulder pads from Gaga’s Grammy performance have made a return, couple with cheek and forehead ones to boot. Her implants lend a jarring alien demon undertone to her bikini clad body. At one point she even gives birth to a glowing orb!? Did I mention the simulated sex scene between tattooed skeletons in tuxedos?
