The Scotland Sunday Herald is reporting that Ryan Giggs is the footballer at the center of the media and Twitter super injunction court order to block all reporting of his sexual affair with model Imogen Thomas. Giggs is known to British football fans a married family man, and is often photoed out with wife and kids in tow. Consequently, the need to protect his squeaky clean family image with a super injunction. British newspapers and websites are still subject to the super injunction, hence they can only say that the alleged lover of model Imogen Thomas is the man behind the court order.
In the last 48 hrs Twitter has been littered with TwitPics of both Giggs and Ms. Thomas, proving how hard it is to apply a super injunction to the internet which has no borders.
