Information overload and job scarcity is making the need for resumes that stand out an absolute necessity. To address this Vizualize.me plans to bring the resume into the twenty first century.
To call the current job market overcrowded would be a major understatement. We’ve all seen the news stories of fast food restaurants posting a single job opening only to have hundreds of people lined up outside waiting apply. In professional fields the competition is equally fierce, HR departments are being inundated with emails from college grads and experienced workers looking to land a steady job. Compound this with each resume being multiple pages long and you can understand why most applicants won’t even receive confirmation that their cover letter made contact with human eyes.
This avalanche of data needs to be organized in a meaningful manner that can be quickly grasped as a visual whole. In a crowded job market, a visual resume could be the upper hand that gets ones foot in the door.
We believe that the traditional text resume is boring, lengthy and long overdue for a makeover. We are creating an online resume format that is beautiful, relevant and fun. -Vizualize.me
